Muhammad Saeed Hashmi is M.Phil; in Economics, from Leads University Lahore (2014). He did his Masters in Economics from the University of the Punjab (1982). He did his M.Sc. Agriculture in Fiber Technology from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (1974). He served the Directorate of Agriculture (Economics & Marketing) Government of Punjab for 35 years. During the later years he was the provincial Director Agriculture (Economics & Marketing).  Mr. Hashmi is the top expert of Pakistan in the areas of Marketing of farm produce, Establishment and regulation of agriculture Produce Markets, Establishment and regulation of agriculture produce feeder markets, planning of feeder roads, Regulation of agriculture produce marketing, Drafting Agriculture Produce Marketing laws & rules, conducting Research & Surveys in the areas of agriculture Produce Marketing & Regulation.

Mr. Hashmi also provided guidance to the Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) in connection with establishment of the first Fruit & Vegetable Market in District Bagh.

Mr. Hashmi is author of 8 research papers published in different journals of international repute.

In addition to his consultancy services Mr. Hashmi is regularly serving Agriculture Management Consultants (AMC) as Secretary Research Resources.
