Dr. Muhammad Kamal Sheikh is PhD in Development Management and Project Planning from the University of Bradford UK (1998) backed by more than 32 years of experience in planning and management of research and development programs, project planning and management, project identification, appraisal, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and impact assessment. During this period, he worked closely with international donor agencies and consultancy firms like USAID, World Bank, Winrock Int., Hunting Tech Services – UK, FAO, JICA, ADB, IFPRI, ILRI, ICARDA, CIMMYT, ACIAR, FERA Science UK, and have a sound knowledge of their structure and operational procedures especially the project management, technical cooperation and capacity building for business and technical projects. he also worked for senior level positions and completed a number of mega projects. Worked closely with senior management of private and government sector organizations and various donor agencies for mutual cooperation and business development. He was responsible for National Research System planning, monitoring and evaluation, re-organization, re-orientation and national level priority setting and strategic planning studies for the NARC.
